Alice Faye (Cragle)Jackson 1922-2006

Alice Faye Jackson of St. James, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 20, 2006 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri. Faye was 83 years of age.

Alice Faye was born at St. James, Missouri on October 7, 1922 to her parents James and Alice (Baumgartner) Cragle. On October 5, 1940 Faye was united in marriage to Adolphus Jackson in Vienna, Missouri. To this union one daughter was born.

Alice Faye was a member of the St. James Christian Church. For 11 years she worked at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri. She also was employed by Malones Grocery Store; Dillons Store; L & L Grocery Store; and the Dimestore in St. James.
Faye loved to dance and taking people places.

Alice Faye is survived by her Daughter: Charlotte Williams and husband John of St. James, Missouri; Grandson: Doug Williams and wife Charlotte of St. James, Missouri and two Great-Grandchildren: J. D. and Paige Williams of St. James, Missouri.

Alice Faye is preceded in death by her parents: James and Alice (Baumgartner) Cragle; her Husband: Adolphus Jackson on September 18, 1987; five Brothers: Darwin, George, Charlie, Jimmie and Elroy Cragle; four Sisters: Mabel Edgar; Emma Jean Dean; Violet Swyers; and Bea Grayson.

Services
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from 3 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Aaron Jeffers officiating. Pallbearers will be Ralph Roster, Sam Jackson, Bobby Grayson, Billy Grayson, Kenny Backer, and Jim Branscum. Burial will be in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery.

All arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
