Vera Stine of St. James, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Heritage Park Skilled Care in Rolla, Missouri. Vera was 83 years, 3 months and 18 days of age.
Vera was born on September 8, 1923 in Chiswick, England to her parents Alfred and Violet (Houston) Legge. She was united in marriage to Gordon E. Stine on September 23, 1943 in London, England. To this union one child was born.
Vera is survived by her husband of the home: Gordon E. Stine of St. James, Missouri; one daughter: Frances Green and husband Richard of St. James, Missouri; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding Vera in death is her parents; Alfred and Violet (Houston) Legge; two brothers: Derek and Ivan Legge; two sisters: Glayds Wait and Joan Shilling.
Services
Services were conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday December 29, 2006 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Amy Turner officiating. Music was provided by Connie Rhea at the organ and Beth Chenault leading the hymns.
Graveside Services were conducted at 1:45 Friday Decmeber 29, 2006 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
All arrangements are under the arrangements of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
