Jordon E. Ray passed away on September 1, 2006 at his home in Edgar Springs, Mo., Missouri. He was 25 years and 7 months of age.
Jordon was born on February 1, 1981, at Rolla, Missouri to his parents Dennis and Teresa Ray.
Surviving Jordon is his mother: Teresa (Dodson) Ray of Edgar Springs, Missouri and his father: Dennis Ray and wife Judith of Newburg, Missouri; one son: Jarrett Elza Ray of Rolla, Missouri; one daughter: Mikyala Noelle Ray of Rolla, Missouri; one sister: Jessica Ray of St. James, Missouri; two step-sisters; grandfather: George Dodson of Sullivan, Missouri; uncles and aunts. Jordon will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Jordon in death is his grandparents: Thomas Elza and Wanda (Copeland) Ray; and grandmother: Eunice (Blankenship) Dodson.
Jordon had many hobbies, he liked to fish and to hunt dove and deer, and enjoyed tractors and heavy equipment. He had an extremely kind heart. and loved working with the kids at Boys Town.
Services
Visitation was held Sunday, September 3, 2006 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral Services were conducted on Monday, September 4, 2006 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Dennis Gray officiating. Pallbearers were Ray Byrd; Josh Mankin; Keith Bullock; Rod Lewis; Rick Lewis; and Mike Davis. Interment was in the family plot in the Adams Cemetery in rural St. James, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to a Jorden Ray Childrens Trust Fund , cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
