Mary Catherine Ragan passed away in St. Louis, Mo. on Tuesday, September 5, 2006. She was 96 years of age.
Mary Catherine Ragan was born on August 15, 1910 in Benld, Illinois to her parents Nicholas and Anna (Dobrinic) Spudich. She was united in marriage to Franklin Charles Ragan in 1927 in Rolla, Missouri and to this union three daughters were born.
Surviving Mary is three daughters: Patricia Ann Sandfer and husband Steven of St. James, Missouri; Donna Vincent and husband Don of Sands Springs, Oklahoma; and Judith Simpson of Ferguson, Missouri; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Mary in death is her parents Nicholas and Anna (Dobrinic) Spudich; her husband: Franklin Charles Ragan in 1975; brothers: Nichlas, Andrew, Rudolph, and John Spudich; sisters: Madge Geringer, Anne Dec, Frances Millick, and Evelyn Magewiski.
Services
Visitation for Mary will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, with Brother Jerry Baumann officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will be in the family plot in the St. James
Cemetery.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
