Charles David Skaggs passed away Saturday March 4, 2006 at his home in St. James. He was 83 years 3 months and 25 days of age.
Charles was born Movember 7, 1922 at Vichy, Missouri the son of the late Henry Edward and Mary Anna Cruts Skaggs.
Survivors are his Nephews: Ed Skaggs and his wife Brenda of St. James and David Wymon Skaggs and his wife Mary Ann of St. James; Niece: Alice Hart and her husband Gene of St. James. Along with 8 great nephews and nieces, 2 step-great nieces and 31 great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceaded in death by his parents, one brother: William Edward Skaggs and one sister: Emma May Skaggs.
Services
Charles David Skaggs will lie in state 9:00 a.m. Tuesday March 7, 2006 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 7, 2006 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Pallbears will be Ed Skaggs, Gene Hart, Wymon Skaggs, Glenn Skaggs and Tom Hart. Burial will full military honors will be at the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Vichy, Mo. Memorial may be given to Boys Town of St. James.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
