Joan B. (Burke) Schwarzen 1940-2006

Joan B. Schwarzen of rural St. James, Missouri passed away at her home on Monday, March 27, 2006. She was 65 years, 5 months, and 16 days of age.

Joan was born on October 12, 1940 to her parents: Edmond C. and Wilma (Lenz) Burke. Joan was united in marriage to Roland Gusta Schwarzen on December 1, 1956 in Cornith, Mississippi. To this union three sons were born.

Joan is survived by her Husband of the home: Roland Gusta Schwarzen of St. James, Missouri; Three Sons: Roland Schwarzen Jr. and wife Pam of Marthasville, Missouri; Raymond Schwarzen and fiance Sandra of St. Charles, Missouri; Robert Schwarzen and wife Melissa of Marthasville, Missouri; Three Brothers: Edmond Cassel Burke and wife Marie of State of California; Kevin Burke and wife Cindy of Wright City, Missouri; Jim Burke and wife Kathy of Wright City, Missouri; Three Sisters: Patricia Clem and husband Jim of Licking, Missouri; Mary Collier and husband Gary of St. Charles, Missouri; Cindy McLandsbourgh of St. Charles, Missouri and Nine Grandchildren; Two Great Grandchildren; along with a host of other familly members and friends.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents Edmond C. and Wilma (Lenz) Burke and one brother: Steven Burke.

Memorials are suggested to the Christianson Craft Native Workshop or Missouri Baptist Hospital - BJC Hospice in Sullivan, Missouri.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Services
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 from 10 - 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Jeff Fulk officiating. Music will be Amazing Grace and Blowing In The Wind. Burial will be in the family plot in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Shannon County, Missouri.
