Geraldine Lucille (Lacy) Laycock 1920-2005

Geraldine Lucille Laycock of St. Clair formely of St. James passed away Friday December 16, 2005, at the St. Clair Nursing Home in St. Clair Missouri. She was 85 years of age.

Geraldine was born September 18, 1920, in St. James the daughter of the late John and Essie Bradshaw Lacy.

On July 3, 1938, She was united in marriage to William Silas Laycock. He entered into rest November 19, 1983.

Geraldine Laycock is survived by Sons: William Laycock of Redland, Vermont and Victor Laycock of Rolla. Daughter: Rebecca Krewson and husband Dean of St. Clair. Sister: Eunice Weiland of Newburg, along with 15 grand children, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.

She is preceaded in death by two sons: Harold Laycock, who enetered into rest in 1999. and John Wayne Laycock who passed away in infancy. Sisters: Helen Timmons and Ethyl Adams, Brothers: Duard, Robert, John and Ernie Lacy. Along with daughter-In-Law: Neil Laycock and grandson Anthony Laycock.

Services
Mrs. Laycock was in state Sunday evening, Dec. 18, 2005 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral Services were conducted 11 A.M. Monday December 19, 2005 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Pastor Mick Thrasher officiating. Music was provided by Laurie Garver, Vocalist with Charlet Hemme at the organ. Pallbearers were Kevin Burkeen, Toney Krewson, Mike Krewson, Jason Laycock, Rory Krewson and Ralph Burkeen. Burial was in the family plot at the St. James Cemetery. Memorial may be given to the St. Clair Nursing Home Patient Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
