Dorothy H. Coulter 1930-2004

Dorothy H. Coulter passed away on November 28, 2004 at the St. James Nursing Home in St. James, Missouri. She was 74 years of age.

Dorothy was born on May 9, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to her parents George Riley and Effie C. Perry Watson.

Dorothy worked for E. H. Berry Metal Works making fan guards for twenty two years. She also worked at the Switzer Plant. Dorothy retired from Busy Bee Laundry Mat in Rolla, Missouri. She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Adams School. She loved to crochet and painting. She also loved to work crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Rolla Bowling League. She accepted Christ as her Savior recently. Everyone who ever came into contact with her loved her as she had a very outgoing personality. She was especially fond of her niece Judy Brown and her nephew Jimmie Dyer. She had several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is survived by one sister: Mary Lucille Dyer of Sullivan, Missouri; one granddaughter: Melinda Sutphen of St. James, Missouri; one great-grandson: Austin Davidson of St. James, Missouri; Special niece: Judy Brown and husband Bob of St. James, Missouri . Many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death is her husband: J. B. Davidson; husband: Richard Coulter; one son: Carlose Davidson; one daughter: Marcadine H. Davidson; two sisters: Effie Eliza Bridgett and Jessie Mae Thompson; and one brother: William Earl French.

All arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Services
Visitation for Dorothy was from 6 - 9 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Gabe Felan officiating. Pallbearers were Junior French, Jimmy Dyer, Larry Bridgett, David Bridgett, Jim Javernig and Terrill Story. Songs: Precious Memories and Amazing Grace was sung by the vocalist, Terrill Story and accompanied by the organist, Connie Rhea. Burial was in the family plot in the Rolla City Cemetery in Rolla,
