Ronald Henson 1951-2009

Ronald Henson was born Jan. 13, 1951, in Vida, Mo., and passed away Aug. 30, 2009, in Rolla, at the age of 58.

Ronald was active in the Moose Lodge and the VFW. He liked to hunt, fish, and play golf, and loved music and playing his guitar. He had a generous nature and was always willing to help others.
Ronald was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother Mary Frances Heavin; son Ronnie Lee Henson of Michigan; daughters Tammy Lynn Gebbink of Indiana, and Jessica Nicole Henson of St. James; brothers Roger Henson and wife Janet Sue of Rolla, and Allen Ray Henson and wife Liddy of Rolla; sisters Carol Guidicini of Rolla, Joan Colgrove and husband John of Newburg, and Elaine Huffman of Springfield; grandchildren Jaden, Braden, Brenden, Shayla, Selena, Jakayla, and Jace; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father Arthur Henson (2004).
Graveside services for Ronald Henson will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Pilot Knob Cemetery near Vida, Mo., with Pastor Marshal Mosley officiating.
