Golden Ethylen (Mills) Davis 1906-2006

Golden Ethylen Davis passed away on February 1, 2006 at her home in rural St. James, Missouri. Golden was 99 years of age.

Golden was born on May 5, 1906 in Morgan, Missouri to her late parents: John Roscoe and Susan Olive (Green) Mills.

During her lifetime she was a Registerd Nurse, Public School Teacher, and Flora Designer.

Golden is survived by daughter: Kandyce Alexander and husband Richard; step children: Linda Bartholemew and husband Ken; Brenda Nolte and husband Larry; Wylitta Hardwick and husband Joe; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Preceding Golden in death were her husband: Wiley Casper Davis; parents: John and Susan (Green) Mills; sisters: Thelma Prescott and Dr. Erma Newkirk.

Services
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, Missouri. Pallbearers were: Richard Alexander, Joel Alexander, Robert Morales, Larry Notle, Jason Nolte, Russ Kaiser. Interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, Missouri.

Memorials are suggested to the Phelps Regional Hospice.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
